Authorities began searching for a gunman after a man showed up at an area hospital with a gunshot wound.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the victim walked into Nashville General Hospital around 2 a.m. Thursday.
He was suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower leg.
He told detectives he was arguing with two men near Cockrill Street in North Nashville, when one of them pulled a gun. It’s unclear what led up to the argument.
He’s expected to recover. His name was not known.
There was no description of the suspects.
