Police have asked for the public’s help finding a wanted man who allegedly strangled an 8-year-old.
The incident happened Tuesday when the child asked for help with her homework.
Authorities said 28-year-old Dwayne Lewis White allegedly choked the child.
Reports stated two warrants have been released for White’s arrest charging him with aggravated assault and child abuse.
Officials confirmed White has been working at IHOP in Gallatin, but they added his hours of employment were inconsistent.
White has been known to drive a 2000’s model gold Buick with four doors and has been living in the 100 block of Brush Hill Court.
Anyone with information on White’s whereabouts has been asked to call the Gallatin Police Department at 615-452-1313.
