Man Sought After Armed Robbery In Smyrna

Police in Smyrna have been searching for a man accused in an armed robbery.

Authorities said the Quick Stop in the 500 block of Nissan Boulevard was robbed around 12:45 p.m. Sunday.

Reports stated a white man went into the business and robbed it after showing a small, black, automatic pistol to the clerk.

Officials said the man fled on foot.

He was described as having a small build with red hair and a red, short cut beard.

Authorities said he was wearing a long-sleeve, black dress shirt, dark sunglasses, a Fedora style hat, and cargo shorts. He was possibly covering tattoos on his arms with the sleeves.
