A 32-year-old man has been captured in a Montgomery County homicide. Authorities said he had been on the run and was considered to be armed and dangerous.
Officials with Clarksville Police said the body of 38-year-old Capitolla Cross was found at a residence on Harrier Court in Clarksville.
Officers were called to the scene shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday to check on the well-being of a resident.
Police said Demetris Merriweather was arrested for criminal homicide.
Details of his capture had not been released. No further details were available as the investigation was ongoing.
