A man was injured near downtown Nashville after police say he was stabbed in the head.
The incident happened just after 9 p.m. Wednesday on Carroll Street.
Officials with Metro police said the victim did not provide a motive. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspects were described as three black males.
Police said one was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and white sweatpants, another was wearing an Alabama sweatshirt and black pants, and the third was dressed in all black clothing.
