A man was seriously injured after being stabbed on Pageant Lane.
Officers responded to a call of aggravated assault around 1 a.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Greenfield Drive.
There they found an adult male victim with a stab wound to his neck and right arm. According to reports, the man had been injured during a fight with an unknown black male at a location on Pageant Lane.
Authorities said the victim was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for the treatment of serious injuries. His identity had not been released.
Officials said the crime did not appear to be random and added the investigation was ongoing.
