A man used his van to try and stop three robbery suspects from fleeing a motel in north Nashville.
The incident was reported around 4 a.m. Thursday at the Kings Inn on Brick Church Pike.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said three suspects, two men and a woman, robbed a man in the back parking lot of the motel.
The victim told NewsChannel 5 that two men approached him in his van. He initially thought they were asking for a cigarette lighter.
At some point, they pointed a gun in his face and demanded money.
They took off in a car but the victim followed them and used his own van to disable their vehicle.
From there, all three fled the scene on foot. The victim wasn’t hurt, but was shaken up during the ordeal.
