Police have been searching for a wanted man accused of kidnapping a woman who thought she was helping him find his way.
An arrest warrant showed Homero Montelus Murayari asked a woman for directions early Friday morning on Buchanan Street in Nashville.
She told him where to go but said he acted confused, so she got into his car to show him exactly where.
According to reports, she told police he took off down Clarksville Pike, locked the doors, and refused to let her out of the car.
She added he touched her inappropriately in the vehicle.
When Murayari crashed the vehicle off of Dry Fork Road, officials confirmed the victim was able to run away.
Murayari has been charged with kidnapping with a risk of bodily injury.
Anyone with information on Murayari’s whereabouts has been urged to call police.
