A manhunt was underway in Antioch after a violent home invasion at an apartment complex.
The incident happened early Thursday morning at the Autumn Ridge Apartments on Rural Ridge Road.
Officials with Metro police said two men broke into the town home around 12:30 a.m.
The residents heard a noise downstairs before the suspects entered their bedroom and held them at gunpoint.
A small child was also inside at the time but was in another room and did not witness the incident.
Police said a man was pistol-whipped by one of the men and a woman was slapped. They made their way downstairs and ransacked the home.
According to police, the men got away with cash and valuables.
The victims were taken to Southern Hills Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The description of both suspects was limited at this time. So far, police have only said they are looking for two black men.
The victim told authorities he was likely targeted because he had money and drugs.
