A Christmas tradition at one Nashville church recreated what life was like when Jesus was born.
"Walk Thru Bethlehem" at Woodmont Christian Church featured a marketplace, complete with a carpenter shop and bakery, and a live nativity scene.
About 450 volunteers came together to make the event happen. It took six days to set up.
Church members said it’s an event many look forward to each year.
“To me it means the joy I see of the people and kids coming through, live animals, manger scene, and it’s our way of telling the story of the birth of Jesus,” said Paul Hardin.
This was the 33rd year the church hosted the event. Thousands of people have attended each year.
