An officer with the Metro Nashville Police Department was hurt while working a wreck south of Nashville.
The incident happened Wednesday morning near Battle Road and Burkitt Road, not far from the Williamson County line.
Details of the crash were not known.
It’s unclear if the officer was inside or outside the car at the time of the collision.
The officer was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No additional details were known.
