Metro Police Seek To ID Hit-&-Run Driver

Police have asked the public’s help in identifying a driver in a hit-and-run that injured a man in Nashville.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the incident happened overnight Tuesday in front of a market near Clarksville Pike and Dr. DB Todd Boulevard.

The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Details of the hit-and-run were unclear and there was no immediate description available for the driver's vehicle. 

The fatal crash team was first called out to the scene. Officers spent several hours photographing evidence and talking with any potential witnesses.
