An elderly woman reported missing from Florida was found safe in Rutherford County.
According to WGNS, 78-year-old Dorothy Reardon suffers from dementia and somehow made it on her own from Florida to Murfreesboro.
Police in Murfreesboro found her after she ran out of gas on Interstate 840.
She was reportedly confused, frightened and disoriented.
Officers took her to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital and were able to contact her family down in the Florida.
