The search for a six-year-old girl came to an end, and the man she was with has been placed behind bars after he was arrested on a nationwide warrant.
"I'm a wreck. This entire situation has been a nightmare," said Brian Cooney.
It's a nightmare that Cooney was not able to wake up from for nearly two weeks after his six-year-old daughter went missing back in February.
But Sunday afternoon, private investigators were able to find his daughter, Claire.
Claire was taken by her non-custodial parent Miranda Cooney and Jonathan Bromen last month.
The little girl was last spotted inside Becky's Thrift Store in Centerville, Tennessee.
"They didn't let her talk to me that much. She'd answer it, then they would tell her to hush," said Rebecca Bryent, Becky's Thrift Store owner.
That's when the owner noticed Cooney and Bromen acting suspicious and called the police.
"They said that they wanted to go off the grid. That didn't sound right to me, especially with a six-year-old kid. So my nephew snuck out and got the license plates, and I called the Hickman County cops," said Bryent.
Claire was spotted in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, and police arrested Bromen who had an active warrant out for his arrest after recently failing to show up for prison.
Claire's father will be flying from Minnesota to Tennessee to be reunited with her on Monday.
