Police in Lawrenceburg have been searching for a murder suspect.
Reports stated 37-year-old Nicky J. Johns has been wanted for allegedly shooting and killing a man at the Travel Lodge Hotel in the city of Ocean Springs on Monday.
Officers said Johns was believed to be traveling in a newer model, possibly 2013, blue Ford Taurus with tinted windows. The vehicle was stolen from Lawrenceburg.
The victim's identity has not been released. Anyone with information on Johns’ whereabouts has been urged to call police at 931-762-2276 or 931-762-0450.
