Some residents in Murfreesboro have been displaced after an early-morning house fire.
The call came in around 4 a.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Sunset Avenue.
Officials on the scene said the fire may have started on the backside of the house and spread to the attic.
Three people were able to make it out unharmed after a dog alerted one of the residents. All of the dogs were able to escape; however, one cat perished in the fire.
