The search continues for a Nashville couple presumed dead after a plane went down in the Dominican Republic.

Charles and Candy Ritzen went missing after a plane crash on Monday.

The couple worked to bring healthcare and dental services to those in need in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. 

They were returning from a mission in Haiti when the single-engine plane crashed.

As of Thursday morning, much of the plane's wreckage had been recovered but so far, no bodies.

The recovery effort continues. No additional details were known.
