A woman has been accused of assaulting and threatening to kill a Metro Nashville Police Officer.
According to the warrant document, the officer was expected to be okay.
The woman allegedly kicked the officer in the groin after saying she was going to kill him.
The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Starr Scaife, was jailed on one felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and four other misdemeanor charges.
Police said the incident started at the greenway at Harding Place and Ezell Pike after Scaife threw a rock at a man.
When an officer approached her, Scaife allegedly said she was going to [expletive] kill him and then kicked the officer.
As police were putting her into their vehicle, she reportedly spat in the face of two officers who were trying to buckle her seatbelt.
She was also charged with resisting arrest.
Her bond was set at $23,000.
