Authorities in Franklin County confirmed a teen was hit and injured by a train.
Officials with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said the report came from CSX after a train hit the teen between Blackberry Lane and UT Farm Road around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
An investigation revealed the teen, who’s approximately 13 to 16 years old, was with three other unidentified white males.
The teen was taken to Erlanger hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Initially, authorities had not been able to identify the teen. They have since released information that he has been identified. They have not given additional details.
