Those with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reported a Montgomery County man has been charged with four counts of aggravated assault against deputies with the Humphreys County Sherriff's Office.
Authorities said Brian Bric was also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and evading arrest.
TBI agents said their investigation found Bric pointed a weapon at the officers back in November, and they fired at him.
He was hit and hospitalized. No deputies were hurt.
The incident happened off Highway 13 in the Waverly area.
