A Nashville organization that has worked to support families who lost someone to gun violence came together to pray and support one another.
Partners in the Struggle hosted an event Saturday afternoon to unite victims’ families.
Many of the people have been waiting for justice for their loved ones and said they understand the pain others have been dealing with this week all too well.
“With everything that’s been going on across the country, in Baton Rouge and Minnesota and Dallas recently, we want to make sure that we can do whatever we can to make sure that we can support all of our families,” said Earl Jordan, of Partners in the Struggle. “Those families that are affected in all those cities, we send our prayers to them.”
Saturday's event was dedicated to the memory of Algernon Joe Cross. Cross was murdered February 12 on Bell Road.
