Authorities confirmed a pedestrian was hit by a car in West Nashville.
Officials said an 81-year-old man was crossing Annex Avenue headed toward Capri Road just after 9:30 a.m. Saturday when he was struck by a car.
The victim was taken to the hospital with possible life-threatening injuries.
The incident was still under investigation, but police had said the pedestrian was not in the crosswalk at the time of the crash.
No further details were immediately available.
