A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a vehicle on Lafayette Street.
Officials said the crash happened around 4 a.m. Saturday at Lafayette Street and 2nd Avenue South.
Reports stated the pedestrian was in the crosswalk, and the driver had a green light. Authorities said the driver did not see the pedestrian who was wearing dark clothing.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
No identities were released. Authorities said the driver was not cited.
