An 18-year-old has been identified as a person of interest in a 2014 murder in the Edgehill neighborhood.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said Jhonquis Compton is wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of 33-year-old John Sykes back in April.
Compton has also been accused in the January beating of a 59-year-old man inside a convenience store along D.B. Todd Boulevard.
Police said the incident started out as an argument regarding where the victim parked his car. The victim was knocked unconscious in the altercation.
