An all clear was given at the Nashville Veterans Affairs Medical Center after a bomb threat was reported.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said someone called Sumner County 911 Friday morning and threatened to bomb the hospital.

Officers restricted foot traffic on Highland Avenue between Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the VA hospital while they investigated.

Students were asked to take another route to class due to a "situation" at the hospital.

As of right now, they are looking for the person who made the threat. They said the suspect's phone was not pinged close to Vanderbilt or the VA.
