Three people accused of impersonating police officers to rob multiple people in Nashville got their gear by allegedly robbing a security guard.
The suspects have been in jail since June 14, but according to a new Metro Nashville Police affidavit, they also robbed a security guard.
Investigators said the couple, identified as April Woodard and Thomas Green, entered the guard's car while stopped at a light almost two weeks ago.
The third suspect, Jeremy Felts, walked up to the driver's side door and reportedly robbed the guard at knife point.
They were able to get away with a badge, baton, flashlights, phone and cash.
More robbery charges were expected to be filed in the case.
After robbing the guard, police said they forced their way into a man's Murfreesboro Pike apartment by announcing they were police and showing the badge.
Just a few days earlier, they were accused of robbing a man at his hotel room on the same road.
Officers found their vehicle and arrested them at a motel on Dickerson Pike.
