The first incident happened on Bell Road in Antioch shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said a man held a woman at knife point and assaulted her as she tried to get out of her car.

The suspect took her vehicle, described as a Honda Civic with tinted windows. She was taken to an area hospital, but is expected to be OK.

Around 1 a.m. Monday, another woman was carjacked at gunpoint in south Nashville. That incident happened near the Prestige Point Apartments on Paragon Mills Road.
