A victim was listed in stable condition after a shooting in Antioch.
The incident happened around 2:47 p.m. Thursday near Rural Hill Road and Bridgecrest Drive.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed the suspect and victim had been riding together in a black Honda when the passenger shot the driver.
Police confirmed the two knew each other. The suspect has been taken into custody.
The driver was listed in stable condition. No identities had been released.
Officials said a baggie of marijuana was also found in the vehicle, but they were not calling the shooting drug-related.
The investigation was ongoing to determine the motive.
