Police: Man Admits To At Least 3 Robberies & Burglary

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Police in Nashville said a man has admitted to his involvement in at least three robberies and one burglary since November.

Metropolitan Nashville Police arrested 18-year-old Anthony T. Woods on Wednesday. He was under investigation for his involvement in robberies when a Madison Precinct Sergeant spotted him near the intersection of Sussex Drive & Bellshire Drive. 

The officer was able to convince Woods to meet with detectives. During an interview, he allegedly admitted to his involvement in two robberies and one burglary in Nashville, along with a robbery in Millersville. 

Police said Woods confessed to the armed robbery of the Dollar General store on Dickerson Pike on November 17, and the armed robbery of the Save A Lot on S. Gallatin Pike on December 1.

Woods allegedly also admitted to taking part in a home burglary on Colony Trace Court on January 15, as well as a business robbery in Millersville.

Woods was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated burglary. He was being held on $150,000 bond.
