Police confirmed one person was killed in a shooting in North Nashville.
Authorities with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the shooting took place in the 1600 block of 14th Avenue North around 3:40 p.m. Saturday.
The victim, identified as 23-year-old Rodrick Mason, was found critically injured at the scene. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died Saturday night.
The suspects were described as two young black men who possibly fled from the scene in a dark gray or green Nissan car with custom rims and tinted windows.
The motive for the shooting was unknown. No further information was released as the investigation was ongoing.
