Police in Columbia said a missing 10-year-old has been found safe.
Reports stated the young girl was last seen around 2 p.m. Saturday when she left her home on Shady Drive. Authorities said she was headed to visit a friend in that area.
Officials said she did not return home, and that’s when it was learned she never made it to her destination to see her friend.
Police had not described the circumstances, but confirmed she was safe and with her parents.
