Officials with the Franklin Police Department have asked for the public’s help in locating a shooting suspect.
They said Devonta Lorenzo Haynes of Nashville was in a car with the victim Saturday night when he shot her.
Haynes was said to be in the back seat of the vehicle when he shot the female driver through the car seat and into her back.
The victim made it to the hospital, where she was in stable condition.
Haynes jumped out of the vehicle in the Natchez Street area on the way to the hospital, and has not been seen or heard from since.
Anyone with information on where Haynes may be has been asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-794-4000. The information could lead to a $1,000 reward.
