Police were able to arrest an accused sex offender thanks to a tip from his girlfriend.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, 52-year-old Donald Bartlett was arrested after his girlfriend found images of child pornography on his phone.
After she called authorities, a forensic specialist found more than 1,000 graphic images on the cellphone.
Police said when he was confronted, Bartlett admitted the phone was his.
He was taken into custody and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, probation violation and violation of the sex offender registry.
