Hundreds of runners braved dangerously cold temperatures to complete the third annual "Hot Chocolate Run" through downtown Nashville.
Temperatures for the race, which began at 7 a.m. Saturday near Bicentennial Mall, barely reached above 20 degrees.
Racers pushed through the bitter cold temps on the course which took runners out of downtown on Church Street to Centennial Park where they were sent back behind the Parthenon then downtown again for the finish.
Some proceeds from the event benefited the Ronald McDonald House.
