Anti-abortion activists held rallies all across the country calling for the federal government to cut off payments to Planned Parenthood. In some places, they were met with counter protests.

The demonstrations were side-by-side with counter protests in some cities. A large group protesting for abortion to remain legal could also be seen along the road in Knoxville.
About 300 pro-choice protesters gathered outside the Planned Parenthood office in New York City chanting “Fund Planned Parenthood, one in every neighborhood" and carrying signs that read, "My uterus, my choice."
