Officials in Wilson County have reminded the public to be aware of snakes as temperatures continue heating up outside.
Lebanon Animal Control picked up a rattlesnake in the parking lot of Tennova Healthcare. Lebanon Police posted a photo of it on Facebook.
Experts said snakes will go to more populated areas as the weather gets warmer.
Remember, don't handle snakes with which you are unfamiliar. Although most are non-poisonous, that wasn't the case here.
