A man who’s been arrested more than 200 times has now been accused of attempting to assault an officer.

NewsChannel 5 reporter Nick Beres met Willie Weesner a few years ago when he examined how many times the suspect had been arrested.

Weesner has been arrested yet again in Murfreesboro after being accused of attempting to assault a police officer who stopped him for disorderly conduct.

He's now pushing nearly 400 arrests, most of them for public intoxication, dating back to 1979.

According to police, the total court costs for his jail time totals more than a quarter million dollars over the years to taxpayers.
