Five Fort Campbell soldiers were injured Wednesday night during a training exercise.
A statement from the post on the Kentucky-Tennessee border said the soldiers were injured when their chinook helicopter made a hard landing.
The soldiers were in the middle of a routine training exercise shortly before 11 p.m. when the incident happened.
All five were taken to medical facilities for treatment. Two were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition.
The others were taken to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital and have since been released.
An investigation into the crash was ongoing.
