The inaugural Rev’n Rods and Heartland Music Tour made a stop in Nashville.
The event kicked off Sunday with a car show during the day and a country concert at night.
Fontanel in the 4100 block of Whites Creek Pike played host to the first ever epic crossroads of classic cars and country music artists.
Nashville was the first stop on a six-day, six-city tour of the collection of cars, hottest rides, and brightest stars of classic country music.
“Many men’s mistresses are sitting out here,” musician James Otto said about the cars on display. “They’ve got many dollars into them, and so everybody gets to go around, take a look at them, and there’s actually some official judges that go around and check them out and see what kind of work’s been done. You know, you get a chance for that guy to explain why that car is his passion.”
The tour has been set to head to Southaven, Mississippi on Monday.
Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin, and Collin Raye performed at Sunday night’s event.
