A teacher in Rutherford County has been placed on unpaid suspension pending a criminal investigation.
An official with Rutherford County Schools said Brandon Hanson has been on unpaid suspension pending the investigation by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office.
Reports stated this type of suspension has been standard protocol in these situations.
Officials said Hanson taught math at Riverdale High School. The suspension started March 29.
The investigation remained ongoing, and those with the school system said they could not release further details.
