The exact cause of the crash was unknown; however, icy conditions likely played a factor.
The off ramp was blocked while officials worked to remove the tractor trailer.
Although road conditions have improved across the city, numerous slick spots have been reported.
Since Friday morning, officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said they’ve responded to 1,100 incidents, including 54-injury crashes and one fatality.
