A familiar face is set to join presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on the campaign trail.
Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tennessee) will join Trump in Raleigh, North Carolina Tuesday, as both parties target the swing state ahead of the Republican and Democratic conventions in Cleveland and Philadelphia.
Sen. Corker met with Trump back in May to discuss what he said was national policy.
Meanwhile, President Barack Obama will make his first campaign appearance with likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in Charlotte.
New national polls show Clinton still has a 5-point lead over Trump.
