Two suspects have been charged after an arson victim was "bound and beaten" moments before his home was set on fire.
Christopher Duncan and Timothy Shoffner have been charged with especially aggravated kidnapping, especially aggravated robbery, aggravated arson, attempted first degree murder, and theft over $1000.
A third female suspect was still being sought in the case.
Officials with the Cheatham County Sheriff's Office had previously posted new information to their Facebook page with more details on Monday morning's suspicious fire.
Officials said the victim woke up to the suspects making demands and threats. They said he was then tied up and placed on the ground before being "doused."
The post went on to explain that it was only by a miracle that the victim was able to escape the flames.
