After an explosion of gunfire outside a nightclub in the Gulch, police have been searching for the shooters.
The shooting happened just after 2:30 a.m. Saturday outside Club Agenda on 9th Avenue South.
Police said they believe one person was shot, but just like the shooters, they’ve been working to track down the victim, as well.
Authorities said they’re also working to determine if the victim may have been one off the people firing shots.
Officers received several calls of shots being exchanged between two shooters outside the nightclub.
One of the shooters reportedly fled the scene in a silver truck.
There wasn't a good description of either shooter, but shortly after the incident, a male arrived in a silver truck at St. Thomas Midtown hospital saying he wanted treatment for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
However, according to police, he also made a vague reference to killing someone before leaving without getting any help.
Officers said they’re working to determine that subject's identity.
No one else at the scene was hit, but a car and the building next door were struck by the gunfire.
The investigation remained ongoing.
