A shop in Hillsboro Village celebrated its first ever Small Business Saturday.
The Arcade Nashville opened its doors just last September. It's a locally owned toy store, and it's offering some fun deals for not only Small Business Saturday, but all weekend.
Everything has been marked 20 percent off through Sunday, and they're doing a deal on their website for Cyber Monday.
When you shop local, you not only support the local economy, but your neighbor's dreams.
"It really gives people freedom to be able to be your own boss and to be able to be creative,” said Genie Lockwood, owner of Arcade Nashville. “My dream, when you support local businesses your supporting people's dream."
Small Business Saturday was started five years ago and keeps growing.
This year, experts predicted $14 billion would be spent at small shops.
