Shot Fired During Franklin Robbery

Police have asked the public's help in finding those responsible for firing at least one shot during a robbery at a Franklin apartment complex.  

The incident happened around 10:15 p.m. Thursday at a complex located on Westminster Drive.

Officers with Franklin Police were called to the scene after the victim said he’d been robbed and shot at.

He had reportedly just parked his car and was walking to his apartment when two suspects approached him in a stairwell.

Police said although the victim was compliant, one of the men fired a shot at him. He was not injured in the incident. 

The suspect also stole his car keys and got away in his white 2001 Chevrolet Cruze with Tennessee license plate U5502S. 

The other suspect fled in a gray or silver PT Cruiser or similar style vehicle.

The victim described the suspects as being two black males, one of whom was wearing a ski mask.

Detectives were working with the victim to get a better description. 

A reward of up to $1,000 has been offered for anyone with information that leads to an arrest. Call
