Police in Franklin confirmed a Silver Alert has been canceled for an 81-year-old man who has been found.
Authorities said 81-year-old Thomas E. Pate unexpectedly drove away from his home near West Main and Downs Boulevard.
The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Officials had not released details, but confirmed his family had been notified.
