Everyone has been getting ready for Christmas, and Sunday, Smyrna had its big celebration.

The city held its 41st annual Christmas Parade Sunday afternoon on Lowry Street.

This year's theme was "Miracle on Lowry Street."

A great crowd turned out, and there was plenty to see.

"We've seen the band, the Stewarts Creek Band, and we've seen Stacey's Dance Club and the Grinch, and we've seen the Sheriff's Department,” said Tricia Kellogg, of Smyrna. “It's been a great time so far. And they've gotten a lot of candy. They don't need a lot of candy, but they got it!"

As part of its tradition, parade-goers brought canned food items for the local food bank.
