A fugitive wanted out of state has been taken into custody in Davidson County.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, Demarcus Oliver had been wanted for attempted murder in South Carolina.
From there, he reportedly made his way to Nashville and was considered armed and dangerous.
NewsChannel 5 has learned that U.S. Marshals received a tip and took Oliver by surprise in Antioch.
He was arrested at a home on South McDuffie Street without incident.
Oliver has been accused of shooting a man several times in Anderson County, South Carolina.
He was processed at the Davidson County Jail, where he’s awaiting extradition.
