Southwest Airlines will begin offering a nonstop flight from Nashville International Airport to Charlotte beginning this summer, officials said.
The announcement was made Thursday morning by officials with the Nashville Airport.
The airline is also adding additional flights to Denver, Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale beginning August 7.
“As we celebrate Southwest Airlines’ 30th anniversary in Nashville, it is very fitting that they are adding a new destination and additional service,” said Rob Wigington, president and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority.
Nashville International is served by 10 airlines and offers 390 daily flights. For more information, click here.
